These are strong webbing luggage straps with the additional feature that the catch incorporates a three wheel combination lock. It seems to me that luggage straps have four different functions. First, they provide some reassurance that belongings will stay in your luggage even if the locks burst open. Second they help identify luggage quickly on a baggage carousel. They provide baggage handlers with something else to grab; I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. A very distant fourth function must be to provide some protection against thieves. When my luggage was stolen at Sandford airport the thief just hid the whole bag to rifle though it at his leisure. He wasn't very bright as he was quickly caught thanks to CCTV. However, it does illustrate a situation which would not be helped by any lock. Another potential situation is when luggage might be quickly searched looking for valuables before being closed up and delivered to the owner. Here the thief might be deterred by a locked strap, if he didn't have a knife. As at airports the same situation would prevail at a hotel or on a bus or train. Having decided to use these straps, the lock mechanism is quite large, so might be damaged by careless handling. As travellers within the USA know, the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) will open bags at any time, with or without the owner's presence. If baggage is locked they will usually bust open the lock. They are polite and leave a note inside to say they have searched the bag. Canny travellers buy special locks which have an additional keyhole, for the universal TSA key. The combination locks on these luggage straps have openings for those same special keys. These luggage straps are well made and precisely as described. Despite my doubts about their utility it is only right to award them five stars.

Nice strong straps which I was able to place around my largest suitcase and thank goodness for the padlock style lock, I am always losing keys! I will be going to Australia in the new year and will use this strap and as I like it that much I will be buying another couple for my other cases. Highly recommended.

I had a strap of a different brand, just the one, so I thought I would try this one. Mainly as the walking handle on my case has decided to detach at the top and straps would help hold it together.... 2 in a pack and they feel very strong and smooth, good quality material for sure. The plastic clips are, well, standard plastic clips really, I wouldn't bet my life on them holding but they are good enough for this. One with a combination lock, with the TSA (new to me) unlock hole for customs (or anyone with a TSA key I guess, which you can buy from Amazon for a fiver). So I wouldn't trust the security aspect on these but I did get these to make my case stand out and hold the handle in place so they tick my boxes. For £17 at the time of review I'm not sure I'd pay that since the security "feature" is not that strong. But if you want a well-made strap for your case, and like the idea of some peace of mind from random bag openers, this would suit. I'm pleased with mine.

These are strong, well made, luggage straps that fit easily around my large Samsonite suitcase both lengthwise and widthwise - I prefer to fit them around the narrower profile with the strap running beneath the handle such that bag cannot be easily opened even if the zip on it fails. The lock combination is easy to set, and works well. I never expect straps of this kind to withstand a determined thief who doesn't mind showing that your bag has been breached, but the presence of a locked strap deters opportunist thieves (such as some luggage handlers or hotel staff - people who get a couple of minutes alone with your bag but don't want others to know they've messed about in it). the straps are easy to adjust to the appropriate length and do a good job of making it easy to pick out your case when it is coming off a luggage carousel. At just under £114, I feel this is a good value purchase for giving peace of mind against breaches of your bag, either inadvertent if the zips or catch fail or advertent if an opportunist thef decides they want what you've got stored in there.

This Apromisith adjustable luggage strap is of superior quality. The strap is sturdy and well stitched and the TSA approved combination lock is smooth in operation. A previous strap's basic lock mechanism jammed (during Customs inspection) - the design of this is far superior and setting up a new code was extremely simple. I will be trying this on a new case on my next holiday and will update with any further observations. At the time of ordering, this was priced at £13.99 which is a good price for a quality strap with TSA lock.

I got this for my suitcase, as I like to make it more easily identifiable when I'm collecting it off the carousel, and additionally it might just save the suitcase from splitting open completely if it somehow ripped. The number lock is a nice bonus. There are no instructions on how to change the number code, but even a kid could work it out. 5*

Bought this last minute before a long haul flight to Australia. Sadly, even though following the very simple instructions, it has never opened so I’ve had to leave it behind as no time for returning. Just hope I can still do that when home next month. 😟

This bright red crossbody luggage strap is really pretty. It makes your luggage easier to see from a distance. The quality is good, it's quite sturdy and easy to adjust. You can set a passcode to add another level of security to your luggage. And this crossbody strap will hold your belongings together tightly during your travel. Overall, it's a useful and practical luggage strap. I'm satisfied with this item. Recommended.

At last, a sturdy, one-piece locking strap that holds in place. The non-locking strap will shift or perhaps come loose too frequently when the regular two-piece straps loosen. That problem is fixed with this one-piece strap. Although the triangular buckle could be slightly larger to make it simpler to insert the strap snap end (the part that locks into the lock), it is really simple to put on.

These are a significant step up from similar appearing straps in the mutipacks. It's VERY solid, with good clasps and a much better locking mechanism. Very strong compared to the cheaper ones. The best argument for these is the buckles. They are constructed better so they don't let go, and won't come loose. Once they are tightened, you need to tilt them to release. I had a few versions of the cheap ones. They just loosen if you touch them, which I didn't like at all. Another good feature is the TSA locks. They are going to look if they want to, lock or not, so you may as well let them without wrecking your straps. These luggage straps do cost quite a bit more than the cheap ones. BUT they will still be attached when your trip is over, and your clothes will still be there too 😊
